<National Report> Christians in the United States have been challenged for decades by a rampant secular movement of the liberal agenda that includes removing God from public places, from schools, from government and from our lives, while forcing Christians to indoctrinate under mandate of civil law ideals that are fundamentally abhorrent to God and too Christians including the outrages of abortion and homosexuality. More recently being Christian in America has meant being labeled a racist, text from holy scripture has been attacked as “hate speech,” and praying in public is denounced by the yellow liberal media as showing contempt for people of other faiths.
As a Catholic American who is conservative and tolerant I’ve felt conflicted by today’s liberals who have seized the attention of the American pop culture youth scene and with that voice use the same tactics of bullying, intimidation and making terrorist threats which they have outspokenly denounced conservatives for over the past decade. The irony of listening to the same people who once preached love, harmony and equality for all are today the same people who replaced GOP conservatives with hate speech, religious and social intolerance, while promoting violence and hate of Christians.
I scheduled an interview this past week with Father Constantine Ferrari, of my parish to discuss these social changes in the U.S. At first Father Ferrari’s answers shocked me to the core of my faith; but an hour later I understood much more about Christ’s mandate to all Christians and how we have failed in our time to carry out His command.
I asked the father why there is so much intolerance in the U.S. today towards Christians, including intolerance from our government? He said, “Most modern Christians have been taught to be tolerant of others of different faiths and immoral lifestyles. We’ve been taught to believe that acceptance of others leads to understanding, respect and a harmonious society. But this is a dangerous pitfall for Christians to put their faith in.”
I argued that we live in 21st century America, the most multi-racial and culturally diverse nation in history. How can we teach anything but acceptance of others? As Christians we know God gave us all free will. How can we live peacefully with our neighbors if we ignore the inalienable free will God gave us to live in sin and practice immoral behavior without killing each other?
Father Ferrari told me… “Christians have forgotten God’s mandate to claim the land and its people for Jesus Christ. To have dominion over civil and religious authority and all other aspects of people’s lives. Christians are commissioned by scripture to fulfill God’s holy command not to have a voice, nor influence, nor equal time, but to seize dominion by global conquest,” he added.
Naturally I had to ask how such a monumental task could be achieved, then I sarcastically asked, ‘What are we going to do bring back the Inquisition?’ Father Ferrari then got a smirk on his face and said, “Exactly.” I laughed thinking somewhere behind his clerical collar this man of God had a sense of humor and I jokingly replied, ‘We don’t live in the Medieval era today, the church does not have the influence it once did so I think its going to be a harder sell today than it was in the 12th century.’
Ferrari explained, “There have been several Inquisitions over centuries and under different political governments and leaders. The inquisition is a group of institutions within the judicial system of the Catholic Church whose purpose is to combat heresy. During this period in history the Church grew worldwide commanding the greatest numbers of faithful parishioners; its wealth and influence was known around the world.”
From The First Book of Indoctrinations, Father Ferrari quoted… “The weak will always be led by the strong. Where the strong see purpose and act, the weak follow; where the strong cry out against fate, the weak bow their heads and succumb. There are many who are weak; and many are their temptations. Despise the weak for they shall flock to the call of the Daemon and the Renegade. Pity them not and scorn their cries of innocence – it is better that one hundred innocently fall before the wrath of the Emperor than one kneels before the Daemon.”
He then told me the time has fallen upon our generation to reclaim God’s dominion over the world and Americans are commanded to establish the inquisition of the 21st century by executing God’s holy mandate in the United States and to spread His word to Catholics in every nation.
Raised from birth in the Catholic faith I was stunned by this and at the same time could recall one verse after another from scripture that supported Ferrari’s claims. I told the father what he said made sense to me literally from scripture but I never thought Christians today would ever consider igniting the flames of such an ugly, bloody and intolerant period in the Church’s history.
My priest is a man I’ve known for most of my life having been raised in the Vancouver – Portland area since birth. I trust him and often seek his counsel. But when he told me the traditional Catholic parishes throughout the U.S. have been organizing a resurrection of the inquisition for several years and would execute God’s mandate very shortly, I simply could not fathom what the man I’ve trusted for decades was telling me.
I stood dumbfounded and quiet. I must’ve had a lost look in my eyes because the father looked me in the eye and told me to go home and study the inquisition and to look for understanding in the pages of scripture. I have undertaken Father Ferrari’s command to me and thought this is a life journey that I must scribe and give it to everyone who’s eager to learn. This is the first in a series of Covington Reports that will be dedicated to documenting my search for understanding my challenged faith in the hate and chaos of liberal America today. I hope you will follow me and leave your comments below.
