Upon receiving his Masters Degree in Journalism from UCLA, Allen worked his way up from the copy room to the board room at several national “mainstream” news organizations before founding National Report. Nigel Covington, Editor-In-Chief

Nigel J. Covington, III, is a lifelong resident of Vancouver, Washington. He graduated from Columbia River High School before attending Washington State University where he majored in Journalism and Media Production. Nigel served as president in 2006 for the WSU chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists. He was awarded the Lillian March Ritter Journalism Award in 2009. Nigel is the Editor-in-Chief for the National Report and currently resides in Hazel Dell, Washington. Nigel is a spokesperson for the National Report.

Barbara Bagwell has been described as a contemporary Gertrude Stine with a touch of escort. Effortlessly charming, Barbara has wheedled and hobnobbed her way to a Knocker Award for Lady Journalism and numerous accolades for her work on various church bulletins. She is a featured writer for the Colic Shoals, Missouri, edition of the “Penny Wisdom Saver”.


Manfred Peregrine, Celebrity Reporter

Manfred Arnold Von Archbald Jr, known professionally as Manfred Peregrine, is an American celebrity gossip columnist, socialite and lifetime resident of Hollywood California. He graduated valedictorian from USC Annenberg School For Communications and Journalism class of 1984. Manfred has been a member of Hollywood’s elite inner circle since birth. Grandfathered in by virtue of his late father, Manfred Archbald Sir, who was a talented and prolific screen writer during tinseltown’s infancy. He currently calls west Hollywood Hills home, with his life partner Chaz and his Bichon Frise, Leopold.

Diego James holds a PhD from South Dakota State University. He has worked as a scientist in both industry and academia. He is currently pursuing a sustainable lifestyle in rural North Dakota, where he writes science news, raises show chickens, and breeds heirloom tomatillos.

Lillian Fabricant, Staff Writer

Lillian Fabricant, Acclaimed author of young person’s novels, earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Oxnard University in the History and Sociology of Children’s Fictions, A Masters degree from Johns Hopkins University in Traumatic Cosmetology and another B.S. from the Honolulu Academy of Agrarianism in Pineapple Cultivar Development. Her highly anticipated, unapologetic memoir, “I Covered The Kid Beat”, which recounts her time spent examining, as an undercover journalist , the broken system of the Alabama State Department of Juvenile Services, is scheduled for publication sometime after her trip this Fall chronicling Connecticut’s biennial Nutmeg Harvest.

Milton Freewater, Jr. is a fully accredited Journalism Major from Western Baptist College in Salem, Oregon. While journalism is his job, his true passion lies in collecting old subway tokens from around the world and his side job of being a children’s storyteller at local orphanages.


Arthur Hamilton, Director of Sales & Marketing

Arthur’s fame started at age 13 when he won the first of what has become several Chili Dog competitions. Arthur used his love for all things chili dog to build a franchise of chili dog carts located in urban areas across the country. Arthur has since sold his share of the muti-million dollar business he founded and has found his passion within the walls of the National Report media complex as the Director of Sales & Marketing.
