<National Report> A news report from the Yemen News Agency (YNA) on Friday claims a U.S. Predator drone fired a Hellfire missile at an unconfirmed target over the City of Sayqat al Amir, on Monday morning, June 17, 2013. The YNA states the missile was observed to be flying erratically and was photographed moments before it struck a playground and detonated.

Seven teens, all males are reported to have suffered fatal injuries with another 14 wounded. The Yemeni government has not released further details about the victims. According to Yemeni authorities evidence recovered from the blast site include wreckage identified as U.S. Hellfire missile fragments.

This is the second Hellfire attack the U.S. launched on Yemen during the month of June. On June 9, 2013, the U.S. launched its first missile attack from a U.S. Predator drone that killed 10 year-old Abdulaziz Huraydan.

In what has become known as Obama’s signature trademark for blatant deception, criminal scandals and outright lies on both domestic and foreign affairs, both child-killer missile attacks in Yemen occurred only weeks after Obama pledged during a major speech in May that he would “facilitate transparency and debate” about the U.S. war on al Qaida linked to militants beyond Afghanistan. Obama added, “there must be near-certainty that no civilians will be killed or injured” in a strike.

And what does the White House have to say about the President authorizing two deadly missile strikes alleged to have slaughtered eight Yemeni children in as many days? Nothing. Likewise our shameless president has too refused to answer questions about the deadly drone attacks.

Though this is typical of what the American people and world leaders have come to expect from the scandal-ridden 44th President of the United States, it is Obama’s arrogance, contempt and disdain for American law, integrity, and any transparency whatsoever in his administration which has made it impossible for the public to believe anything the president says. But more than anything else it is the words and deeds of President Obama that are writing the dark, divisive, seedy and scandalous legacy of this president. It is also for the same reasons that the President lacks any credibility whatsoever to his worthless claims of supporting “transparency” in Washington.
